6. This Week's Homework


This list is subject to change.

April 16-20:
-Check homework sheet daily, and have a parent sign the chart on Thursday night to turn in on Friday.  
-Read an AR book within your level for at least 20 minutes, fill out log nightly with parent initials, and return the log on Friday. Parents are now being asked to edit the sentence summaries for capitalization, punctuation, grammar, and spelling each night. Students who have met their AR goal do not need to read AR books but should still log what they are reading.
-Spelling for Unit 8-Week 1 due Wednesday with these words: affect, certain, computers, Connecticut, covered, crucial, fierce, recommended
- Students need to get the bottom strip of the Science Weather Disaster Project paper signed by a parent, cut, and returned. If they are doing a 3D model, they may begin bringing in materials.

         Monday--12-1
         Tuesday-- 12-2
         Wednesday--12-3
         Thursday--12-4
          Friday--no homework

-In class, we're finishing our Bernhard Museum journals. If your child didn't finish the final cursive copies yet, they'll need to be done at home in the learning center during lunch/recess.

-Have a parent, older sibling, or guardian edit your My Hometown Auburn paragraph Tuesday night. Return all paragraphs, edited, by the next day.

March 19-23:

          Friday--No Homework
