Students are expected to write down their homework in their Bowman Planners on Monday and update it if changes occur. This is their responsibility, and I will not check individual planners myself each day. However, I do set aside time for them to write in their planners, and I usually assign a group leader to check planners. Additional homework depends on what the students accomplish in class. Please let me know if your child has had problems in the past with keeping up with homework or being truthful about what was assigned--some fifth grade students are still not ready for the responsibility of managing their own work. We can work together to manage it. :)
