COVID-19 Information and Resources

Ackerman Charter School District is committed to providing both a quality education and a safe learning environment for our staff and students during the COVID-19 pandemic. Below is a collection of current school procedures and resources based on guidelines from California Department of Public Health and Placer County Health & Human Services.

COVID-19 Daily Health Screening

Parents are required to to make sure their students are healthy and non-symptomatic before coming to school each day. Please use this questionnaire with each child prior to arriving at school.

  1. Do you have any of the following symptoms?

    • Fever - above 100.4

    • Body Aches/Chills

    • Cough/Sore Throat

    • Shortness of Breath/Difficulty Breathing

    • Nausea/Diarrhea/Vomiting

    • New loss of taste/smell

  2. Current Temp?

  3. In the past 24 hours have you been in close proximity to someone that has tested positive for COVID-19?

    • Yes

    • No

  4. Have you been tested for COVID-19 and are awaiting results?

    • Yes

    • No

If you answered "yes" to any of the questions above, you must stay home. Please note that you must be symptom free for 24 hours before returning to school.
