Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP)

As part of the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF), school districts are required to develop, adopt, and annually update a three-year Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP), using a template adopted by the California State Board of Education. The LCAP is required to identify goals and measure progress for student subgroups across multiple performance indicators. Ackerman Charter School District follows the exact same procedures as all Placer County Public Schools. We work very closely with our County Office on review of our goals. The LCFF and Ackerman Charter School District as a whole are supported throughout the year at the highest level by the County Office in all things school related. We rely heavily on our County Office for budget oversight. Ackerman Charter School District welcomes input from its parents, community, and other stakeholders during the development of the annual LCAP update.
